DRY AMBER WINE
Maranuli is only six years old, but significant investment and exacting standards have seen its success rocket in that short period.
This dry, amber wine is made exclusively from the local Kisi grape and uses ancient, traditional Georgian winemaking practices in its production.
The wine sees prolonged skin contact and is fermented in clay amphorae, or qvevri, of which Maranuli has more than 100, each handmade and bearing their own unique design.
Maranuli advises wine lovers not to drink it too chilled, but somewhere between 16°C and 18°C where it will more than hold its own against meat dishes, smoked cheeses and spicy cuisine.
